About project
The project aimed to educate QNB Group's 28,000 employees about sustainability and how we can make positive changes in the MENA region. We wanted everyone—from top bosses to branch staff—to understand why it's important to care about the environment, social issues, and good governance. But it wasn't easy! We had to find a way to explain these complex ideas in a way that everyone could understand, no matter where they worked. Our solution? "A Place for All," a six-month campaign split into five parts to cover different aspects of sustainability. We created comprehensive branding to make the communication visible and memorable. We developed a visual language that includes a set of icons symbolizing all aspects of sustainability—from clean water to cybersecurity. By mixing them in different ways, we could convey even more than using only words. However, our tagline and the name of the campaign—A Place for All—in a friendly way invited everybody to participate in QNB's sustainability initiatives.
The internal educational campaign was based on fun and friendly formats of communication to get messages across—newsletters, videos, quizzes, and activities to get everyone involved. Everything we talked about was based on real things QNB is already doing to help make the world a better place.
We wanted everyone to feel like they could do their part, so we made sure our messages were easy to understand and fun to learn. And finally, it worked! After the campaign, we asked everyone what they thought, and they said they understood a lot more about sustainability. That's a win for us and for the planet!
